Coupled with an acrylic adhesive system that does not require edge sealing, this tape application will last. In order to prepare the surface for application, adhesive will only bond to a clean, dry, smooth surface. It is important to ensure that the cleaning process does not leave any residue, as this may affect bonding. It is also recommended to avoid chloride-based cleaners, as they may haze the surface. Mild soap, a 50/50 water/isopropyl alcohol mixture, or organic cleaners are better options. The best results can be achieved when the ambient and surface temperature is close to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Surface bonding will continue for up to 7 days after the tape is applied.

For tape application, the surface must be clean and free from water, dust, dirt, oil, wax, and silicone. A surface sealer is recommended for porous surfaces like concrete and wood. The adhesive bonding strength of this tape will increase throughout the first 30 days after application, with a good initial tack after 24-36 hours. It is high traffic rated and can be used to outline steps and elevation changes where tripping hazards are a concern. The tape is of premium quality, with a high traction surface and aggressive adhesive. It is code-compliant, certified NFSI 101-A "High Traction", meets or exceeds OSHA 1910.24 and 1910.26 standards, is RoHS compliant, and lead-free. This tape can be used for indoor or outdoor applications, as it is water, chemical, sunlight, and wear-resistant. It is easy to apply - simply release the liner, cut to length, peel, and stick for installation.
